What is an Ingrown Toenail?

An ingrown toenail is a condition where the side of a toenail grows into the skin of the toe. This can cause an inflamed or irritated toe. Treatments for this condition are usually minimally invasive and don’t take long to recover.

Instructions

  • Leave wrap for 24 hours before you start soaking
  • Soak foot for 10-15 minutes daily for 3 weeks (21 days)
  • 1 Quart of lukewarm water
  • 1/4 cup of epsom salt (Unscented)
  • Remove and dry foot, apply small amount of Bacitracin ointment to toenail removal site (Do Not Apply Neosporin) 
  • Cover with small gauze bandage (No Band-Aid)
