Dean got his initial start practicing in San Diego where he gained experience working with a gamut of patients which includes post-op, geriatrics to elite athletes from Major League baseball down to grade school levels of all sports. In 2014 he returned to his roots in the Central Valley to continue practicing what he loves to do and continues to treat all types of orthopedic impairments, injuries, post-op rehab, and even Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).

Dean makes it a point to educate each & every patient on their injury to further assist them with their rehabilitation process. He is dedicated to treating the whole person in helping them achieve their functional goals so the patient can return to a better quality of living. Dean is excited & looking forward to the next chapter in his career building a PT program for Valley Foot & Ankle.

Hear From Dean Makredes, PT, DPT

“What made me fall in love with physical therapy is just the hands on approach that therapists have with their patients. You’re there with the patient every step of the way as they continue to progress towards the rehab goals. And you get to see them get better every step of the way which is really nice versus sometimes when you’re a physician, you don’t see the patient for months on end or weeks on end and you don’t see how the process works.”
