
What is a Wart?
Warts are caused by HPV (Human Papillomavirus), it is contagious and can spread through contact. Common places to catch the virus are in locker rooms and swimming pools.
Instructions
- Cantharidine was applied to the area of concern today. Please keep the dressing in place for 48 hours
- After 48 hours, keep area open to air to completely dry out.
- You may experience slight tenderness, tingling, or burning sensation to the area with associated blistering (this is normal). Blisters occur within 24 to 48 hours and healing is complete 4 to 7 days after application.
- Cover the lesion with Duct tape daily thereafter until your follow-up visit in 2 weeks.
- Please refrain from high intense activities until your return to the clinic in 2 weeks.
