First Case with TrueLok

First Case with TrueLok™ Elevate Successfully Completed By Dr. Oji & Dr. Gan

We are excited to share a milestone in podiatric surgery! The completion of the first case using the TrueLok™ Elevate, the first FDA-cleared device for transverse bone transport, now also CE-marked for international use. This procedure was performed by Dr. Emmy Oji, DPM, and Dr. Gan Golshteyn, DPM, who are part of Valley Foot and Ankle Specialty Providers.

What is TrueLok™ Elevate?

TrueLok™ Elevate is a new device that helps doctors lengthen bones, correct deformities, and repair bone defects more easily and accurately. This device attaches to the outside of the limb and allows controlled movement of the bone. It helps pull apart or compress bone segments as needed for proper healing.

Key Features and Benefits of TrueLok™ Elevate

  • Sterile-packed monolateral external fixator – Facilitates transverse distraction and compression movement of the bone segment, allowing for precise correction of defects.
  • Versatile Application – Can function as a stand-alone device or be used in conjunction with TrueLok™, TrueLok™ EVO, and TL-HEX™ for more complex cases.
  • Designed for Experts – Developed specifically for experienced surgeons specializing in limb reconstruction, providing enhanced control and predictability in complex procedures.

A New Era in Limb Reconstruction

This offers a new solution for treating complex limb deformities and bone transport. As this innovative device becomes more widely available, it has the potential to revolutionize the standard of care for patients requiring limb reconstruction and defect management.
