Who Benefits From Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy is an important part of podiatric treatments and surgery recovery. We use physical therapy to help treat plantar fasciitisbunionsheel spurs and calluses.

  • Post-surgery Patients: Post surgery patients are often in pain and have lost the strength to properly support an optimal foot alignment.
  • Pediatric patients: A child with an injury may complain of common symptoms such as, difficulty walking, stiffness, and swelling, due to the accumulation of strain and lack of stretching.
  • Athletes: Sports injuries are extremely common and most can be treated with physical therapy. Putting a lot of strain and pressure on the joints can lead to chronic pain in the future.
