Dr. Oji and Dr. Golshteyn Featured on MedWatch Today for Limb-Saving Innovation

We’re happy to share that Emmy Oji, DPM and Gan Golshteyn, DPM, were recently featured on MedWatch Today! MedWatch Today is a local health news program produced by KSEE24 and CBS47 in partnership with Community Medical Centers.

Their news story shows a new limb-saving procedure being used here in the Central Valley only at Valley Foot & Ankle Specialty Providers.

This procedure uses a special device called a fixator to improve flow in diabetic limbs by mimicking a controlled bone fracture. This helps prevent amputations by stimulating new blood vessel growth to improve circulation.

“Amputation was definitely on the table.” said Tim, a local patient who claims the procedure saved his leg and his life.

This new approach is transforming lives in the Central Valley and we’re honored to be leading this new innovation. If you or a loved one is facing complications from diabetes or vascular disease, you have more options than you think.
